Deok Song Kim
Deok Song Kim is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Division of Virology at the University of Cambridge. Before joining Cambridge University in June 2016, he spent six years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Chonnam National University in South Korea, where he studied viral enteritis in humans and animals, specializing in Norovirus, Sapovirus, and Sapelovirus. His research interests are in viral molecular mechanisms and how they can induce viral diseases. Currently, he sets the experimental protocols up and is investigating whether viral capsid integrity and genome integrity involve viral replication.
